STAFF DANCE

McKENZIE’B SOCIAL CLUB SUCCESSFUL FUNCTION The happy spirit that characterises staff functions was evident at a successful and enjoyable dance held last evening in the Centreway Rooms by J. R. McKenzie's Social Club. A large number of members of the staff and their guests was present during the evening, and a pleasant time was spent dancing to excellent music supplied by Mr K. Prime’s band. Beautiful bowls of golden-shaded gaillardla dnd Iceland poppies decorated the room. The host and hostess for the evening were Mr and Mrs F. H. Taylor, the latter wearing a frock of black chiffon velvet and gold lame. The ladies of the committee present were:—

Drummond, cameo pink souple satin; Dawn Cooney, blossom pink pheasant s-eye taffeta*; Joyce Sanders, old gold souple satin; L. Morney, black chiffon velvet; Joy Norton, ciel blue .crepe soie; P.
