REMANDED IN CUSTODY (By Telegrapti.—Press Association) DUNEDIN, Wednesday Thefts from local stores of articles largely of a luxury nature, such as vases and ornaments, to a total value of £l7, were admitted by Helen Margaret McPhun and Mabel Davidson, both married, in the Police Court. Mr J. R. Bartholomew, S.M., in remanding both for a week in custody, remarked that the evidence showed they were an expert couple working together.
