Copyright (Received May 25. 1 p.m.) SAN LUIS, May 24 The authorities announced that Federal troops shot dead Juan Soria Urias, a brother-in-law of General Cedillo, who was en route to join the leader. The Government troops are closing in on the rebel hide-outs. Army officials, while insisting that the rebellion was of little military importance, admitted that General Cedillo might hide indefinitely in the hills. Copyright) MEXICO CITY, May 24 President Cardenas lias sent out troops fanwise from San Luis Potosi to stamp out the revolt. He took preliminary steps to call a meeting of the Senate in order to elect ;i provisional governor of San Luis Polosi, and called on the governors and legislatures of all States lo declare their loyalty to him.
