MR BAVAQE’B VIEWB REPRESENTATION AT CONFERENCE V (By Telesrspn.—special to Times.) WELLINGTON, Tuesday. Interviewed regarding the cable concerning political refugees, the Prime Minister, the Right Hon. M. J. Savage, said he agreed with Mr Chamberlain that it was largely a matter for the countries concerned. “Britain cannot tell us what we want here.” said Mr Savage. “When the conference mentioned in the cable is held New Zealand will be represented. Under the existing law in New Zealand intending immigrants from foreign countries are expected to make application to the Minister of Customs for admission prior to leav- 1 ing their own country.’’
