CEREMONY IN AUCKLAND (By Telegraph.—press association) AUCKLAND, Tuesday The Empire Day commemoration •ervice was held to-day in warm sunshine at the foot of the Queen Victoria Statue. Albert Park. Speakers included the Mayor. Sir Ernest Davis and Captain Ilivett-Car-nae, commander of 11.M.5. Leander. Official wreaths were laid by the Mayor and representatives of various organisation's.
