HELIUM SUPPLIES
GERMANY’B WANTB CONFERENCE WITH MR ROOSEVELT WASHINGTON. May 21 The German Zeppelin commander, Dr. Eckener, accompanied by the German Ambassador. Herr LMeckhoff, conferred with President Roosevelt today about helium supplies. All withheld details of the conversation. Dr. E«*kencr sailed later for Germany. He said he was still hopeful of obtaining helium, \vithout which the peace-time use of the airship would be ended.
