MR HENRY FORD

FIFTY YEARS WED SECRET OF HAPPY MARRIAGE (Times Air Mall Service) LONDON, April 14 Henry Ford, the laughing-stock of Detroit when he produced his first spluttering "horseless carriage,” sat to-day in his great faotory, one of the richest men in the world, and gave the world the secret of his happy marriage, says the New York reporter of the Daily Express. Fifty years ago to-day Ford, then just a greasy, dirty mechanic of 26, who liked to "play around with machinery,” married Clara Bryant. This Is his advice: “In marriage, don’t change your model. And, oh, yes, pick out a good mother-in-law. It doesn’t matter so much about father-in-law.” He laughed, went on: “ Take our case. In all our years we’ve never had a quarrel. We’re both working for the same thing now Just as we were fifty years ago.”
