BLOMFIELD BEATS KENNEDY (Special to Times) AUCKLAND, Monday Ignoring frequent warnings by the referee for punching and kicking his opponent in the abdomen, Jack Kennedy (America) was the loser of a match with "Lofty” Blomfleld at the Twon Hall on Saturday night. Blomfleld gained a fall with forearm jolts and a body press early in the bout which was stopped in the final round by Inspector Scott, of the Auckland Police.
MEEHAN AND YOURIBT (By Telegrapn.—Pre3s Association) GISBORNE, Monday A fast, spectacular wrestling match on Saturday between Abe Yourist and Pat Meehan ended in a draw. Even on fails. Meehan came off the ropes with a Hying scissors in the fourth and finished off with a body press. His opponent did not equalise till Hie seventh, when Median went, down to repeated jolts, headlocks and shoulder charges. The match lacked science but furnished identv of excitement.
