W. J. Glanville put in a record card for the links on this morning’s play, with 7i, bogey for the course being 73. Results:— Championship Rounds Results of the first round of th« championship were : —Brinsden beat Chalmers, 5 and -4. Stedman beat Earle, 5 and 3. Clark heat Jacobsen, 1 up at the 20th. \Yoolhouse heat Grant, 1 up at the 20th. Clifford beat S. S. Wilson. 2 and 1. Hardy beat Aitken. 7 and 5. Glanville beat McLean. 3 and t. G. W.
