AEROPLANE’S DASH
CAMPAIGN IN SASKATCHEWAN MR ABERHART ON WARPATH United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright (Received May 21, 3.15 p.m.) OTTAWA, May 20 Mr W. Aberhart. Premier of Alberta, and the whole of his Ministers, as well as ten Social Credit members of the Federal House of Commons, are invading Saskatchewan for the elections. They are launching an effort to link the province with Social Credit Alberta, and eventually gain control of all Canada. Their opponents reiterate that Alberta has not fulfilled its pledge to pay every citizen 25 dollars monthly as social credit dividend.
IBLANDERS SERIOUSLY ILL DOCTOR AND SUPPLIES SENT (By Telegraph.— Pips': \=?nciatlon) AUCKLAND, Saturday Carrying a senior medical officer from the Auckland Hospital, oxygen equipment and other medical supplies, the New Zealand Air Force Walrus flying-boat made a dash to Great Barrier Island in the Hauraki Gulf this morning in response to a telephone call stating that Winnie Medland (3) was seriously ill with pneumonia and her uncle, Mr J. Medland. was also in need of prompt medical attention. The plane left Auckland at 10.30 and later it was reported by telephone that it landed in Tryphena Harbour at 1 i o’clock, the doctor thence proceeding overland three* miles to the coast. It is expected both patients will be brought to Auckland later in the day.
