PROMINENT MEN ARRESTED JUGGLING WITH CITY FUNDS United Press —Flee. Tel. Copyright NEW YORK, May 19 The Lieutenant-Governor of Connecticut, Mr Frank Hayes, who Is also Mayor of Waterbury in that State, and 26 other prominent persons, have been arrested, charged with Juggling with the Cltys funds. The alleged frauds total 1,000,000 dollars. Bail varying from 5000 to 25,000 dollars was granted.
