May 20 The Tokio correspondent of the Daily Telegraph says the Government is attacking the problem of providing wives for 2400 lonely Japanese settlers in Manchukuo. and has established an Institution for training women for wifehood in a country where conditions vastly differ from those in Japan. A million second sons of Japanese farmers will go to Manchukuo iu the next five years, entailing a constant supply of brides.
