BAKERY TROUBLE
TRIBUNAL APPOINTED MR S. L. PATER SOX, CHAIRMAN (By Teiegrann V’° - WELLINGTON. Friday The personnel of the tribunal to hear the dispute in the Auckland bakery industry, arising out of the dismissal of a driver by G. K. Matliicson, Limited, was announced to-day by the Minister of Labour, the lion. 11. T. Armstrong- The tribunal is as follows:—Mr 5. L. Paterson, S.M.. of Hamilton (chairman ; Mr \V. Newton, of Wellington, former Secretary of Labour; and Mr S. Tyson, of Auckland, former Inspector of Factories. The tribunal will commence its sittings on May 26. It has been appointed in accordance with a promise given by the Minister in consideration of an assurance by both parties to the dispute that they would abide by its decision.
