BLAINE HAMILL IN LONDON HAMILTON GIRL THRILLED EUine Hamill, the former Hamilton girl, writing from London, expresses gratification at having been chosen to appear as leading lady to sir Seymour Hicks In “Money Talks,” at the Lyceum Theatre, she was offered a year s contract by Sir Seymour. She was having a particularly busy time, for while rehearsing for Money Talks” she was appearing at the “U” Theatre in “After All.” Miss Hamill says: “I can't believe all thte has happened to me, and so suddenly too. What a chance it is for me—walking straight into the West End, and playing opposite Seymour llicks—it hardly seerns possible. I have to keep pinching myself to make sure that I atn not dreaming! “Sir Seymour is a brilliant actor and a splendid producer, who knows the theatre backwards. What i min to work for! I had a lovely part, and everyone told me that I gave a beautiful performance—l hope I did! After one big scene of mine with my ‘stage father’ I received a marvellous Itand.*
