CONTEST FOR ROTORUA NATIONAL CANDIDATE SELECTED (Special to Times) ROTORUA, Wednesday The National Party’s candidate for the Rotorua seat at the general election is Mr 11. W. Nixon, of Hamilton. He was selected at a meeting of
delegates of the various branches of the party throughout the electorate. Each of the nominees, Mr Nixon, Mr A. Henderson, of Kaimai, and Mr S. E. Carter, organiser for the Farmers’ Union in the Rotorua district, gave short addresses prior to a ballot being taken. THAMES CONSTITUENCY TE AROHA MEN NOMINATED (Special to Times) TE AROHA, Wednesday Two Te Aroha residents, Messrs W. A. Clark and W. G. Kennedy, have been nominated as National candidates to contest the Thames seat at the forthcoming election.
