Miss Waveney Gwen Tinsley, of Hamilton, had the degree of Bachelor of Science conferred upon her at the recent capping ceremony of the Auckland University College.
Miss Roma Garratt, of Hamilton, who has been visiting her home at Waiheke Island, will 6ail from Wellington at the end of the week for England.
Miss N. Smith, of the staff of the Hamilton Technical College, will return during the week-end from a tour of North Auckland.
Mrs R. S. iR. Seddon, of Hamilton, will leave to-day for Wellington to farewell her daughter, Miss Audrey Seddon, prior to her departure for England.
Mrs A. Michell has returned to Hamilton from a visit to Australia. • • • m Miss Alison Mills, of Ngahinapourl is visiting Auckland.
Miss Hazel Ross, of Waitomo, is the guest of Mrs G. Craig, in Morrinsville. Miss Audrey Seddon, of Hamilton, who will sail at the end of the week for England, was the recipient of the presentation of a book from the committee of tlie Hamilton High School Old Girls’ Association in recognition of her services to the association. Miss Katli Fake lias returned to Eltham from a visit to Hamilton. Mrs H. Gardiner, of New Plymouth, is visiting Hamilton where she is the guest of Mrs W. G. Stewart. CAMBRIDGE Mrs H. C. Tod and family are staving at St. Heliers, Auckland. Miss Shona Bourke is home from Dunedin visiting her mother, Mrs D. M. Bourke.
