TO-NIGHT’S EXHIBITION WORK-OUT BY PAT MURPHY Followers of boxing will be entertained this evening at the Fire Brigade station, commencing at 7 o’clock, when Pat Murphy, the English lightweight. will spar three rounds with a local amateur. Murphy, who will probably be seen in action in the near future in Hamilton, has a splendid record in England, and his appearance will be keenly awaited. After his exhibition Murphy will continue with physical training and skipping. Barney Downes (Wellington', lost. 71b., beat George McKay Tuatapere), list. 51b., on a technical knock-out in tlie eighth round, and W. Jack (Invercargill, tftst. 121 b., defeated J. Reidy Invercargill., lost. 81b., on points.
