VALUES AT WESTFIELD FIRST-CLASS QUALITY OFFERED (By Telegraph.—special to Times.) AUCKLAND, Wednesday Reporting on their weekly stock sale at Westfield to-day, Messrs Dalgetv and Company state that 172 head of cattle were yarded. This total included 35 steers and 144 cows and heifers against 154 head last week. The quality was again first class and the entry met a ready demand and values were on a par with last week’s rates. Quotations: — Extra choice ox sold to 395. choice and prime 36s to 38s, just killable 3?s to 355: prime voung cow and heifer beef 32s io 30s, just, killable 23s lo 3is; heavy prime steers £l2 5s to £l3 12s 6d. lighter £ll 7s Gd to £l2 *2s Cd. light £lO to £ll ss, small and unfinished £5 lo £9 JOs: extra heavy prime young cows and heifers £lO !o £ll 12s Gd. heavy prime £9 to £9 17s Gd. lighter prime £7 JOs to £8 ss: light cows, £6 os to £7 ss; other killable cows, £4 to £6,
