MEETING AT TE AWAMUTU The Erst, fortnightly meeting of Hie St. John's Girls' Club, Te Awamutu took place in their club room on Monday evening. The president. Mrs M Sullivan, occupied the chair and presided over a good attendance of members. After the business of the evening which included a discussion on this year's programme, had been concludes the members took part in a musical competition, won by Miss Enid Palmer

A charade and community singing were enjoyed after which supper. a pleasant evening
