ANNUAL DAIRY SOCIAL

TAUHEI SUPPLIERS The Tauhei suppliers of the New Zealand Co-operative Dairy Company, held their annual social recently. Mr G. Thomson of the Hamilton staff, and Mr Hayward, the director for the ward, Mr S. Ferguson, chairman of directors of the Norfolk Dairy Company, and Mr F. Seifert, chairman of the Morrinsville Dairy Company were present. Apologies were received from Mr C. J. Parlane, manager of the New Zealand Co-operative Dairy Company, and from Mr Osborne, Mayor of Morrinsville. A concert party organised by Mr Bateman of the Hamilton office, presented an enjoyable programme, assisted by Miss Ferguson and Messrs Dunbar and Hallam and Miss Larsen, of Motumaoho. The speakers during the evening were Messrs O. Thomson, S. Ferguson and F. Hayward. Messrs. I. Harris and 11. Valintine were M’sC. The music for dancing was provided by a Huntly orchestra, a noveltydance being won by Mrs Bennett and Mr ,1. Findlay. Songs were given by Misses Ferguson and Burton, elocutionary items by Miss Bunker, songs by Messrs Dunbar, Carrol, R. Young and Ilalam and tapdancing by' Mr Barnett. The singing of Auld Lang Syne concluded an enjoyable evening.
