Sunday night was the wannest in May for 80 years, the minimum temperature being 02.4 degrees. To-day at noon the thermometer reached 74 degrees. 17.6 above normal. Mildura and north-west Victoria recorded 90 degrees. A change is expected shortly, with cold winds and rain.
