STRIKE ENDS

WORKMEN TO REBUME (United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright) SYDNEY, May 16 Work will resume at Lysaght’g galvanised iron works, at Newcastle tomorrow, following a 17-weeks’ strike. The conditions proposed by Mr Justice Cantor for the resumption of work provided that work should be resumed under the award, that the men should be taken back as required without regard to the fact that they took part in the stoppage of work, and that all claims should be submitted to the appropriate tribunal under the Industrial Arbitration Act.
