NON-STOP FLIGHT

Copyright TOKIO, May 16 The Japanese monoplane. “ Wings of the Century,” which commenced an attempt to cover ponn miles non-slop in 80 hours in a closed circuit in the Yokohama area, io demonstrate the possibility of a round-the-world lliglit in Ihree hops, and which made a forced landing, undamaged, after covering 1250 miles, on Tuesday, completed 0785 miles in 58 hours 10 minutes. This beats the record flight of 6615 miles set by the Frenchmen Bossoutrot and Rossi in 1932.
A WOMAN’S ACHIEVEMENT LONG DISTANCE RECORD United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright BASRA. May 16 A French airwoman. Mile. Elizabeth Dudevron. arrived at Abadan from Istres, near Marseilles, a distance of about 1670 miles, beating the long distance record of the late Mrs Amelia Putnam Miss Earhart; of 1150 miles.
