Mean Temperature, 55 deg. The barometer reads 30.40 and has very little movement. Fair weather is indicated today and to-morrow, with seasonable temperature and westerly winds prevailing. The Rainfall Rainfall for 2 4 hours ended 9 o'clock this morning, .OOin. Rainfall for previous *24 hours, .OOin. Rainfall for May to date, 2.3iin. Average rainfall for May, 4.631 n. Rainfall for vear to data* 19.13in. Average yearlv rainfall, 46.32in. Forecast: Light to moderate and variable winds with south-easterlies predominating. Weather fine with mild day but cool nigh? temperatures. Seas slight to moder--11 . General Inference: An Intense anti-cyclone lies centrally over the Dominion. A disturbance located to the north of Norfolk Island is moving slowly southward and a moderate depression covers Tasmania.
