ALLEGED FRAUD
LABOURER IN COURT John Thomas Butler (34), a labourer, of Hamilton, appeared before Mr S. L. Paterson, S.M., in the Magistrate’s Court, Hamilton, yesterday afternoon, oharged that with intent to defraud, he obtained six yards of wood chips valued at. £4 14s 6d from E. S. Gox by fraudulently representing that they were to be charged to the Bev. Father Bleak!ev. Accused was remanded to appear to-morrow afternoon, bail being fixed at £lO.
