TO VISIT DOMINION GOVERNMENT’S INVITATION ? (Special to Times) AUCKLAND, Monday Air Chief Marshal Sir Edward Ellington, Inspector-General of the Royal Air Force, lias been invited by the Government to be its guest during his forthcoming visit to New Zealand, announced the Minister of Defence, the Hon. F. Jones, yesterday. Sir Edward, according to a recent announcement, is about to make an Empire tour in connection with defence, and will visit India. Singapore and Australia before coming to New Zealand later in the year. ” We hope that Sir Edward will have the opportunity of seeing what has been done, and what is proposed to be done, in connection with the defence of Hie Dominion.” Mr Jones said yesterday. • \\e think this will be helpful to the New Zealand Government, when he returns to Great Britain in connection with supplies. - ’
