GERMANS AND CZECHS CLASHES IN ILKOTIONB SEVERAL PEOPLE INJURED (United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright) (Received May 16, 3.40 p.m.) •T LONDON, May 15 The Prague correspondent of the Times says that frequent minor clashes between Germans and Czechs In the municipal election campaign indicate the possibility of graver ones. In the biggest of the scuffles 250 German men. women and children marched to Lednice, Moravia, allegedly in an attempt to molest the Czechs. The police barring the road used stones and rubber truncheons, injuring six people. Soldiers were involved in other disorders, including an attack by German boys, five of whom were injured. The police arrested a number of Germans who were distributing pamphlets inciting the Czechs to hostilities against the Government. Great demonstrations throughout the country favour Czech independence. The Ministry of the Interior has banned the proposed Storm Troopers’ battalion, on the ground that the recruiting appeal o\erstepped the liberties allowed to associations.
