BOMBER ON FIRE
CRABH IN BRITAIN NEW ZEALANDER'S ESCAPE CIVILIAN OBSERVER KILLED United Press Assn.— Elec. Tel. Copyright LONDON. May 14 A Vickers-Wellesley bomber, believed to be one of those intended for use in the attempt on the Australian flight record, caught fire in mid-air while being tested at Bristol. A New Zealander, Flight-Lieutenant C. A. Fisher, parachuted to safety, landing two miles away. A civilian observed was killed in the crash.
