DRIVER FAILB TO STOP TWO MOTORISTS GIVE CHASE Failing to stop, except for a few moments, after a collision in which he was involved on the Whatawhatallamilton main highway last evening, a motorist drove off immediately In the direction of Pirongia. Two cars co-operated in the chase but after pursuing the first car for several miles both abandoned the pursuit. One' of the drivers in the chase wu Mr Edmund K. Murphy, of Hamilton East, who was involved in a collslon with the unidentified motorist & few miles from Hamilton at about 6 p.m. Mr Murphy’s car was damaged on the right side, both hub caps being torn away and the mudguards being considerably damaged. The unidentifled driver had stopped about 200 yards from the scene of the Impact but drov* away almost Immediately. The Hamilton police are making Investigation!.
