Sunday 65 51 Mean Temperature, 56 deg. The barometer is steady at 30.40. Generally fair weather Is indicated to-day and tomorrow. with mild temperature and westerly winds prevailing. The Rainfall Rainfall for 2 i hours ended 9 o'clock this morning. .OOin. Ratnfail for previous 24 hours, .OOin. Rainfall for May to date, 2.34in. Average rainfall for May, 4.63in. Rainfall for year to date, 19.13in. Average yearly rainfall, 46.32in. SPECIAL FORECAST (By Govt. Meteorologist). The special forecast by tho Government Meteorologist covering the WalkatoTb»me* Vall»r u «• follows: Forecast: Light to moderate and variable winds with westerlies predominating. Weather fair to fine. Temperatures mild. Seas slight. General Inference: An anticyclone again covers the Tasman Sea and the New Zealand area with the highest pressure west of the North Island but a very slight disturbance is crossing the South Island and pressure has fallen considerably over Tasmania.
