Rainfall for year to date, 19.13in. Average yearly rainfall, 46.32in. SPECIAL FORECAST (By Govt. Meteorologist). The special forecast by tho Government Meteorologist covering the WalkatoTb»me* Vall»r u «• follows: Forecast: Light to moderate and variable winds with westerlies predominating. Weather fair to fine. Temperatures mild. Seas slight. General Inference: An anticyclone again covers the Tasman Sea and the New Zealand area with the highest pressure west of the North Island but a very slight disturbance is crossing the South Island and pressure has fallen considerably over Tasmania.
