GIFT FROM DOMINION APPRECIATION EXPRESSED (By Telegraph.—Press Association) WELLINGTON, Saturday The Under-Secretarv of the Department of Internal Affairs, Mr J. W. lleenan, has received from Mr A. F. Pienaar, president of the South African Rugby Board, a letter stating that he is directed hv his board to convey to the Prime Minister, the iRt. Hon. M. J. Savage, on behalf of the Government ol' New Zealand, the sincere thanks and appreciation of the hoard for the kindly gift of three volumes of press clippings representing the story of the Springboks’ tour in New Zealand in 1937. No more suitable and acceptable memento could have been conceived and he had no doubt that this lasting record of a memorable tour would retain its interest to Rugby enthusiasts for all time.
