May 13 The Australian cricketers gaiend their fourth successive victory to-day when they defeated Cambridge University by an innings and 425 runs. Cambridge were dismissed to-day for 163 runs after having scored 120 in their first innings while Australia de D for 708 runs in their first innings. The highest Australian total in England was 843 against Oxford and Cambridge Past and Present, at Portsmouth in 1893. Australia's four innings to date are: v. Worcester 541, all out; ▼. Oxford. 679 for seven, declared; v. Leicestershire, 590 for five, declared; v. Cambridge, 708 for five, declared. So far Hassett has made 557 runs for three completed Innings. Bradman 453 and Badcook 451. Fingleton has aggregated 310.
