The special forreart by the Government Meteorologist Covering the Walkatoi sme* Vjillhv ns follows: Forecast: Light fo moderate and variable wind with northerly soon prevailing. Weather fair to cloudy and mild. Seas slight. General Inference: An intense anti-cyclone still covers New Zealand with its centre over the North Island while a shallow depression is approaching across the south Tasman Sea. This depression is likely to be followed closely by several others.
