STEINER—STEINER The marriage was solemnised at St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church, Te Awamutu, on the morning of Wednesday, May li, between Elisa, first daughter of Mr and Mrs A. J. Steiner, of Paterangi, and Joseph Francis, third son of Mr and Mrs M. J. of Stratford. The Rev. Father Shore, of Te Kuiti, was the officiating minister, and Miss McGettigan, of Otorohanga, presided at the organ. During the ceremony Mr Cyril Lineham rendered solos. The bride, who entered the church with her father, wore a graceful gown of Ivory ripple wave cloque cut on slim-fitting lines to the knees, and then Haring to form a train. The bodice, which was finished with buttons down the back, was fashioned with long sleeves finishing in points over the wrist. Her ivory tulle veil, which was beautifully' embroidered, fell from a halo of orange blossom and she carried a bouquet of cream roses, chysanthemums and maidenhair fern. She was attended by her sisters, Miss Ettie Steiner and Miss Freda Steiner, who wore similar frocks of salmon pink flamisol taffeta fashioned on princess lines, the skirts flaring from the waist. The bodices, which were buttoned to the waist, were fashioned with puff sleeves and Peter Pan collars and finished with a flower and black velvet ribbon. They wore pleated halos of the same material on their hair and carried bouquets of pale pink chrysanthemums, pink ceanothus and maidenhair fern. Mr Louis Steiner and Mr John Steiner, brothers of the groom, were best man and groomsman respectively. After the ceremony a reception was held in the Parish Hall, Te Awamutu. which had been decorated in shades of pink. The mother of the bride received the guests wearing an ensemble of navy crepe and lace, with matching hat. and she carried a posy of delphiniums. blue ceanothus and maidenhair fern. Mrs M. J. Steiner was wearing a black ensemble and matching hat and carried a posy of delphinium's, blue ceanothus and maidenhair fern. When Mr and Mrs 3. F. Steiner left by car for the wedding trip, the bride travelled wearing a navy ensemble wffh white collar and cuff's, navy hat and accessories. ' They will make their home in Matamata. FARMER—BEAVER The wedding was celebrated at St. David’s Presbyterian Church, Te Aroha, on Saturday last, when Pauline, only daughter of Mrs and the late Mr J. Beaver, of Kaikohe, was married to Charles Samuel, elder son of Mrs and the late Mr D. G. Farmer, of Waharoa. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. J. Ilaslop, and Miss B. Monson'presided at the organ. The bride wore a tailored navy blue pin-stripe costume, with navy felt hat and eye-veil. Her blouse was of pink georgette, and she carried a shower bouquet of white and pink roses and maidenhair fern. Miss Cora Farmer, sister of the bridegroom, was the bridesmaid. She was wearing a brown suede marocain ensemble with brown pleated felt hat and eye-veil, and a shoulder spray in autumn colours which toned with the amber brooch she wore, the gift of the bridegroom. She carried a bouquet in autumn tints. The bridegroom was attended by Mr L. Ramsay, of Hamilton, as best man.
