Copyright CANBERRA, May 12 A Bill to increase Ihe salaries of members of Parliament and Ministers, and to provide a special allowance for the Prime Minister, lias been passed by the House of Representatives. The effect will be to restore members’ salaries to the pre-depression rate of £IOOO a year and raise the Pr me Minister's allowance to approximately £4ooo a year, with a increase in the allowance to the Speaker and President of the Senate from £194*2 to £2300.
