JENBEN DISQUALIFIED INTERVENTION OF POLICE (By Telegraph.—Press Association) WANGANUI, Thursday After conceding a penalty fall "to Jack Kennedy in the sixth round, Leo Jensen was disqualified by the referee. Mr A. Anderson, a few minutes before the gong in the final round of a professional wrestling contest this evening. The bout was entertaining, but was not productive of good wrestling, and during the last two rounds was I marked by much showmanship, Jensen j being the worst offender. Tiie police had to intervene in the ! last round when the wrestlers tried to I fight outside the ring. Shortly afteri wards Jensen kicked his opponent in I the stomach when he was getting into the ring, and was disqualified. Kennedy did not want this verdict and i sought to continue the bout, the crowd • backing him up. After the referee had experienced trouble in separating the men, the police stepped in.
