NEWFOUNDLAND STATUS
GREAT ECONOMIC PROGRESS (Official Wireless) RUGBY. May 10 In answer to a question in the House of Commons the Dominions Secretary. Mr Malcolm MacDonald, said there was certainly no doubt as to the substantial economic progress marie in Newfoundland under the Commission Government. Mr MacDonald added that the process of recovery must necessarily be gradual and in the circumstances there was no present prospect of the restoration of the previous form of constitution.
