The special forecast by the Government Meteorologist covering the WalkatoI iipn . . h as follows; Forecast: Light to moderate and variable wind with south-westerly prevailing. Weather tine with warm day but cold night temperatures and some frosts inland. Sea slight to moderate. General Inference: An anti-cyclone of considerable Intensity still covers the Tasman Sea and New Zealand areas, the highest pressure being over the southern portion of the North Island. A slight disturbance Is affecting the far southern portion of the South Island.
