VIOLINIST’S ROMANCE
YEHUDI MENUHIN TO WED ENGAGED TO MELBOURNE GIRL (United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright) LONDON, May 10 A Melbourne girl, Miss Nola Nicholas, has become engaged to the famous violinist, Yehudi Menuhin. Miss Nicholas is i 9 years of age. The marriage will take place in a registry office in London later in the month. Yehudi Menuhin, who was in New Zealand a couple of years ago, has .just emerged from a long retirement
on his ranch in California, and at his concerts in London recently was received with tremendous enthusiasm. In an interview, published in the Waikato Times recently, the famous violinist stated that there was no girl in his life.
