LONDON MARKET FIRM CHEESE REPORTED QUIET DAIRY BOARD'S REPORT WELLINGTON, Wednesday With New, Zealand salted butter quoted at up to 129 s per cwt., the London market remained firm at the ! close of last week. Danish was is higher at 130 s and Australian was | quoted at up to 128 s. The retail - price for New Zealand in England was i Is 4d per lb., compared with Is 3d and Is -id in the previous week, and Is 3d for Danish. j The Imperial Economic Committee has amended its estimate of all butters held in store for the week ended April 30 to 057.089 boxes, compared with 580.457 boxes held at the same time last year. Cheese is quiet and shows no alteration over the week. Prices for New Zealand, white, are around 68s 6d per cut., and coloured is quoted 6d higher.
