The Northants toam to play the Mustralians next Wtdnesday will Include the New Zealanders O’Brien and Merritt. k '" ‘ * MOTORIST INJURED COLLISION AT IE RAPA When two cars came into collision on the Great South Road, about two miles north of Hamilton, about 3 p.m. this afternoon, the driver and passenger of one car each suffered bruises and abrasions necessitating their admission to the Waikato Hospital. The injured men ware Walter Locke (49), an official at the Post Office, Te Awamutu, the driver of the car, and Lynton Wellington (25), a farmer, of Te Awamutu. The condition of both men is satisfactory. The driver of the other car was a woman. PATRICIDE CASE JURY’S VERDICT AUCKLAND, Wednesday The jury returned at 3.30 p.m. with a verdict in the Swanson patricide case of not guilty of murder but guilty of manslaughter. The prisoner was remanded for sentence.
