Miss Mollie Campbell and Miss Ethel MadeJey, of Hamilton, are spending the school vacation as the guests of Mrs M. Campbell, New Plymouth. Mrs M. Coward, of Stratford, is visiting Hamilton. » * * * Miss Maisie Forrest, of Hamilton, has returned from a holiday spent in Palmerston North and Wellington. Miss N'orma McKenzie, of Stratford, is spending the school vacation at her home in Hamilton. Miss Dorothy Pope, of Dunedin, who has been spending several weeks in Hamilton as the guest of Mrs D. Church, has returned home. Mrs Jock Allen, of Auckland, prominent on the amateur stage a few years ago as Audrey Perry, was in Hamilton yesterday on her way to Te Kuiti. Miss P. McLachlan, of Hamilton, has returned after an extensive tour of the South Island. Mrs E. G. Broad, of Hillcrest, is touring in the North. * * * * Miss Ruth Draper, the American monologue artist, is the guest of Lady Wakehurst, at Government House, during her stay in Sydney. She arrived for an interview dressed in brown tweeds, with matching tweed brown cap. Even on the stage she rarely departs from her beloved brown, which shows her dark eyes and wavy brown hair to advantage.
