WEEK-END ACCIDENTS
CYCLIBT FATALLY INJURED (Special to Times) AUCKLAND, Monday Norman Ross Sweetman (15), son of Mr C. Sweetman, of Epsom, suffered fatal injuries as the result of an accident on the Great North Road while competing In a road race on Saturday afternoon. He was riding past the Waikumete Cemetery when his machine collided with a * motorcar driven by Miss A. Wilson, of Mount Albert. PALMERSTON N., Sunday Mr John Henry M. Sandman (53), a barman, received fatal injuries when his bicycle collided with a motor-car last night. DROWNED IN CREEK AUCKLAND, Monday David Bremner 2), 6on of Mr Robert Bremner. Paremoremo, was>( drowned in a creek running through his father’s farm on Monday. MOTOR-CYCLISTS HURT AUCKLAND. Monday Mr Charles Wlthey King was severely burned about the face and his motor-cycle was destroyed on Saturday. He was filling his tank at a petyol station at Waikumete when the oil -ignited. Mr Arthur James Palmer (50), architect, of Epsom, is in hospital In a serious condition as the result of injuries sustained when his motorcycle collided with a motor-car.
