CANADIAN PARLIAMENTARIAN FATALITY WHILE FISHING United Press Assn.—Elec. Te,. r.opyrtgh. OTTAWA. May 7 The body of Major Alfred Beatts, a member of the Canadian House of Commons, who had been missing for four days, lias been recovered. He was fishing alone and fell into the Quebec River. Major Betts had a distinguished war record. In his last speech in the House of Commons he had uttered the criticism that there were too many officers in the Canadian contingent which attended the Coronation.
