Sunday 67 48 Mean Temperature, 57.5 d:g The barometer is steady at 30.00. Generally fair weather is indicated to-day and to-morrow, with lower temperature and south-westerly winds prevailing. The Rainfall Rainfa/l for 48 hours ended 9 o'clock thie morning, .00in. Rainfall for previous 24 bours. .031 n. Rainfall for May to date. f.341n. Average rainfall for May, 4.631 n. Rainfall for year to date, 19.13in. Average yearly rainfall, 48.32JQ. SPECIAL FORECABT (By Govt. Meteorologist). The special forecast by tho Government Meteorologist covering the Waikato* Thames Valiev fm as follows; Forecast: Light to moderate south-east to southerly winds. A few isolated showers are possible but the weather will be mainly fair »to flne. Temperatures cool. !Seas moderate to rather • rough at times. General inference: A depression moving in a south south-easterly direction Is centred approximately 200 miles north of East’ Cape. Meanwhile a shallow* depresalon is moving on to southern New Zealand. Pressure remains high over south-east-ern Australia.
