(S MORRINSVILLE/ Saturday A considerable improvement in the parish finances was reported at the annual meeting- or parishioners or St. .Matthew’s, Morrinsville. The virar. Archdeacon nil - lespie, presided and representatives were present from the outlying- districts. Appreciation was expressed in the report of the church wardens and vestry or the attention given r>y the vicar and | Mrs Gillespie to church work, and or the services or*Mrs c. H. Davies and helpers in the Sunday School. Thanks were due who acted as organists. The following ollleers were elected:—. Synodsman, Mr it. English, or Hamilton: representatives or the parish on the Rural Deanery Board. Messrs A. j. shepherd, C. G. Hammond and A. rerguson; vicar’s warden, Mr T. K. Goble; people's warden. Mr E. I. Crickett: vestry. Messrs r. f,. Hammond, c. A. Ferguson, A. Rudd, F. T. Dickinson, V. c. Mason. A. .1. Shepherd. I Daunton. I. 11. rtrettjon (treasurer , and W. G. Caitcheon isecretary.'.
