WINNERS AT PLKEKOHE LUCIDUS WINS WELL TRADESMAN TAKES SPRINT Te Rapa stables upheld their record for consistency at Pukekohe on Saturday, when they produced three winners, three seconds and a third during the d»y. Several surprises were recorded, Cheval de Volee being at double-figure odds to win the President’s Handicap and Senacre at a remunerative return in the Otaua Handicap. However, three favourites realised expectations. High Star in the Hurdles. Lueidus in the Steeples, and Barrister in the H*ek Cup. Dragon Moth and Tradesman were also solidly supported in their respective divisions. The weather was fine throughout and the attendance large as a result. Mclnailv, rider of vaalso guilty of careless riding in that he crossed Gay Streak during the running. The committee decided to suspend Mclnally for two months, and also altered the placings.
