Copyright SYDNEY, May 5 The current series of wool sales in Sydney closed to-day with a very strong general demand for all descriptions at full late rates. The market shows an all-round advance of 5 to 7£ per cent compared with the rates ruling before Easter. Greasy Merino made 21£d per lb. Merinos brought: 70's 27id, 64’s 26d, 60 s 25d; crossbreds, sS's 22d, 56's 20d, 50's 17$d, 46*s 17d (nominal), 44's 17d (nominal).
