Rainfall for previous 2 4 hours, l.OSin. Rainfall for May to date, 2.3iin. Average rainfall for May, 4.631 n. Rainfall for year to date, 19.10in. Average yearly rainfall, 46.32in. SPECIAL FORECAST (By Govt. Meteorologist). The special forecast by tbo Government Meteorologist covering the WalkatoThamcs Valley is as follows; Forecast: Moderate to strong north-westerly winds, later becoming west or southwest. Weather mainly fair to cloudy but with a few scattered passing showers. Temperatures mild. seas slight to moderate. General Inference: Yesterday's depressions are passing ■ away eastward, and an anticyclone with its centre to the north is moving on to the Dominion.
