Prices have advanced rather sharply, especially for New Zealand, but now the hich prices have checked the demand. Frozen mutton excites a moderate demand, and the market continues steady, but ewes and Australian mutton have been slow with market somewhat easier. There has been very little frozen beef on offer, and nominal prices are ruling.
